Will my current Volunteer Tracker account be moved automatically?
Yes. We will migrate your account to the new SecureVolunteer (SV) platform on a scheduled date. This includes your users, volunteers, and settings, plus new branded portals. You will receive an email before your migration date, and we will ask for your availability for training.
Is the update to the new system free?
Yes. There are no additional fees, and you will get the same features you have in your current version. SecureVolunteer is a modernization of Volunteer Tracker, and our roadmap will take its capabilities far beyond what Volunteer Tracker has offered to date. There is no plan at this time to increase rates for current Volunteer Tracker clients.
What is the cost of the new features?
Our customer success team and a sales rep will handle any pricing and setup questions. You can reach them at VTsupport@bchex.io. We will also offer free trial periods so you can test new features for 30 to 60 days before deciding.
When can I expect to start using the new service?
We are rolling out SecureVolunteer in phases, and we will let you know when it's your turn. Our goal is to start transitioning clients over the next 30 days, but it can take 60 to 90 days or more depending on the size and complexity of your organization.
Will all of my current features be in the new system?
Yes, with a few differences. Some features work differently, have a new name, or are being replaced by better options. We will share a full comparison so you know exactly what changes for you. You will also have much more customizability and flexibility than before.
Can I continue using Volunteer Tracker?
As part of our ongoing commitment to improvement, Volunteer Tracker will be retired and replaced completely. The new platform has all the features you use now, and many more. We're excited to work with you to make the transition as simple as possible.
